#1 - Thrice Dice - Computation Skills: Addition

Materials:

 Rules:

  1. The aim of the game is to place 4 counters in a row either vertically, horizontally or diagonally.

  2. Players take it in turns to roll 3 dice.

  3. Players add up the numbers shown and place a counter on that number.

  4. If a player rolls triple 1 then the player may choose a number to place their counter on. 

#2 - Multiplication Superheroes - Computation Skills: Multiplication

Materials:

Rules:

  1. Players take it in turns to roll the 2 dice.

  2. Players multiply the 2 numbers together.

  3. Cover the product (answer) with a counter.

  4. First player to cover 4 in a row wins.

#3 - Hungry Caterpillar - Number Recognition and Subitising

Materials:

  • Game sheet

  • Blank paper

  • 1 x 6 sided dotted dice

  • Pencil 

Rules:

  1. Each number on the dice matches a part of the caterpillar.

  2. Players take it in turns to roll the dice once per round

  3. After the player rolls the dice they draw the body part that matches the number.

  4. The first player to draw a complete caterpillar is the winner.

#4 - Connect 4 - Number Recognition and Subitising

Materials:

  • Game Sheet

  • 1 x 6 sided dotted dice

  • Pencil or counter to cross off or cover the number

Rules:​

  1. Roll your dice.

  2. Cover the matching number on the game board.

  3. 4 in a row wins
